Each year, a report on the estimated service charges is presented to Coastline’s Executive Team. They review this report and then decide whether they agree with the costs to be charged to customers or whether changes are required. The service charge rebate relates to items where the Executive Team have decided that it is not reasonable to pass the full cost of specific works to our customers. However, we are still required to notify you of the full cost you should pay. Therefore, the difference between the original estimate and the amount our Executive Team has decided is reasonable will be deducted from the total charges you need to pay. This cannot be refunded to you in one lump sum; it needs to be deducted from your charges.
